“The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.”

Professional Journey
Renee Steinbrecher, manager of Acorn Patterns Leadership Coaching LLC, is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Prior to coaching, she worked with SAP for over twenty-five years, where she started as a technical writer, went on to lead a global team of writers, and was recognized as a top performer. Then as part of the Global Marketing team, she was a "voice of the brand" for this 110,000+ employee company and worked in naming/brand strategy.
She is also the co-founder of Lexington Zero Waste Collaborative, a local nonprofit in Massachusetts, where she served a co-president. During her six years with the organization, she learned what it means to build an organization from the ground up, create a board of directors, develop strategic planning, implement programming, and together with her fellow board members, lead a nonprofit organization.
In the midst of all this, she started to wonder, what’s next? After some time, she realized that her calling was in transformational leadership work.
She is passionate about helping others reach their highest potential.
What motivates her to do this work? It’s a combination of things.
What she learned during her Jesuit college education, which teaches to the mind, heart, and hands of a student so they can go out into the world in service of others.
The experience at her children’s preschool, the Waldorf School, where parents were continually asked to consider “what do children really need” and to hone in on their observational skills so they can be more present and less reactive.
Her belief that if we take our inner work seriously to become the best version of ourselves, both professionally and personally, we will along the way lift up those around us, positively influencing generations to come.
It is from all this and much more that Acorn Patterns Leadership Coaching LLC was born.
And it never ceases to amaze her how all these seemly disparate experiences actually complement one another.
She invites you to take a bird’s eye view of your own life to see how your puzzle pieces fit together, forming the tapestry that leads you ever closer to your purpose - or as she likes to think - purposes in life.
